SIMPur - synthetic industrial mineral

Sustainability and responsibility for our environment are taken literally at Cirkel.

This is demonstrated, not only in our choice of natural raw materials lime, sand and water and conservation of resources, but also in our cooperation with experienced and competent partners from water treatment technology. Our CalciumSilicateHydrate (CSH) SIMPur is already successfully used as a multifunctional mineral in water treatment technologies.

SIMPur is:

  • a synthetic produced CalciumSilicateHydrate based on the natural mineral tobermorite
  • originally produced and available with defined granulate grain distribution, specially for your use
  • practically insoluble in water
  • slightly alkaline
  • highly porous with a high specific and therefore functional surface and highest porosity

SIMPur effects:

  • provision of a local alkaline pH value
  • alkaline buffer effect due to mineral solid nature
  • binding of solube phosphates
  • binding of water soluble heavy metal kations
  • excellent hydrodynamic flow properties

SIMPur is used...

as crystallisation seed in phosphate removal

as additive for heavy metal precipitation

  • ... in groundwater remediation
  • ... in surface water- and rainwater treatment
