Using heat flow calorimetry and ultrasonic measurements, we were able to demonstrate that CIRCOSIL^® significantly accelerates the formation of ettringite in OPC/CAC, OPC/CSA, and mixed systems with CEMII.

Due to its constant, non-compressible pore volume, CIRCOSIL^® an excellent water retention agent. The combination of seeding crystal effect and water retention has a significant influence on the clinker reaction of the cement system and leads to a more uniform hardening reaction.
